Megan Fudge: Drills with the kids

Engaging in drills with the kids: Lily,9, is focusing on discipline and drop shots, while JR,6, is honing his attacking skills and maintaining position at the kitchen line. It's a collaborative drill, and it's important to note that both sides are enhancing essential aspects of their games—defense and offense.

Creating a sense of accomplishment in drills encourages a continued willingness to participate. If someone is facing challenges, consider adjusting targets, varying the depth from the line, and setting achievable goals in terms of the number they need to achieve consecutively. This approach helps scaffold the drill for optimal progress.
