Here’s what  Mike learned from watching the match

1. Footwork in singles is incredibly important once you get up to the kitchen line. The key to being a better singles player is having the right footwork and not predicting where the ball is going to but reacting to it.
X
2. Hit all of your shots, not just the ones that are comfortable. In this game I kept doing the same shot over and over, I wish I would have mixed the direction I was hitting it to. V

3. Be friendly to your opponent. After my game I discovered that I would become friends with Tanner, we both showed sportsmanship and class on the court and had a good time battling. I’m glad we were respectful because l’m glad I got his social media advice.
