To watch the video frame-by-frame, use the "comma" and "period" keys on your keyboard. The space bar starts/stops the video.

  1. Paddle Pendulum Swing Path: The paddle begins at the back of the head and finishes in front of the head.
  2. Stand 2-3 feet from the baseline, in a Neutral Stance
  3. Knees Bent
  4. Relax. Breath. Begin the kinetic chain
  5. In a smooth motion, the paddle accelerates down to strike the ball, the hips rotate and the body weight is moved from the back leg to the front leg. The bent knees straighten up during the weight transfer.
  6. Watch the ball hit the paddle.
  7. Your non-dominant relaxed arm moves by the rotation of your hips and shoulder turn.
  8. With the body weight moving forward, your head will automatically turn upward so that you can watch the ball.
